TC Elite Hockey:  TC Elite Hockey is a spring/summer program dedicated to bringing female athletes together to compete at the highest level while getting the opportunity to grow and develop to become a successful female athlete.  

Camps, Clinics, Showcases, Lessons:  TC Elite Hockey also provides Camps, Clinics, and Showcases for female athletes to better themselves on the ice each day. Specifics such as forward skills, defense skills, power skating, edge boss hockey, game like scenarios, goalie training, professional coaches, off ice hockey specific training. TC Elite also provides 1 on 1 private lessons in a detailed instructional setting for those who are interested in this opportunity. Taylar T.T. Cianfarano played 4 years at Quinnipiac University and 1 year at Clarkson University. She graduated in 2019.

  • A nice addition to the Clarkson lineup, recording 34 points on 18 goals and 16 assists as the Golden Knights’ fourth-leading scorer … Tied for team lead in power-play markers (4) and also has netted four game-winners … Tallied points in 21 games, including nine multiple-point outings … Scored two goals, including a shorthanded tally, and two assists in 5-1 win over Union (11/2) … Also scored a shorthanded goal at Colgate (2/9) … Posts a +24 rating.-
  • Graduated from the prestigious National Sports Academy in 2014
  • Won back-to-back silver medals at the IIHF World Championships as a two-year member of the United States’ National U-18 Team
  • She served as the assistant captain in the 2013 Summer Series
  • During the 2013 IIHF U-18 World Championship, Cianfarano finished second on the team in goals (four), while registering six points throughout the tournament
  • She followed that up with a breakout performance in her second appearance for Team USA at the 2014 IIHF U-18 World Championship in Hungary
  • Despite falling to Coach Turner and Team Canada in the title game, she led all players in the tournament with six goals and was named Most Outstanding Forward by the Directorate
  • She led all players in face-off percentage as was first among forwards with a +8 plus/minus rating
  • She was also a four-time participant at the USA Hockey National Development Camps
  • At the high school and prep level, she most recently attended National Sports Academy from 2010-14 in Lake Placid, N.Y. where she compiled seasons of 125 points, 147 points and 113 points the last three years
  • Her 2013-14 season garnered national recognition as she was selected to the First Team JWHL as well as a First Team All-USA Family Insurance High School Team in the USA Today
  • Her individual success dates all the way back to her early teens as she was a First-Team All-State selection after a 56-point season while playing against high school level competition as a 7th grader
  • She followed that up being named MVP of the Final Four Tournament to go along with All-State honors leading her team to a State Championship season in 2009-10

  • She grew up in Ottawa, Ontario where she played for the Ottawa Lady 67s and the Nepean Jr. Wildcats.
  • Sarah won gold with U18 Team Ontario and earned a silver medal at the 2020 U18 Women's World Ice Hockey Championship with Team Canada.
  • Won a CHA Regular Season and Playoff Championship with Syracuse in the 2021-22 season
  • She is now in her fourth year of studies at Syracuse, pursuing a B.S. in sport management and a minor in sport analytics.
  • Along with her studies, Thompson is an intern with the Syracuse Crunch, the American Hockey League (AHL) team that is the primary development affiliate of the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning.

 

  • Sarah has been a longtime friend and supporter of owner Taylar Cianfarano.
  • Sarah is a Certified Personal trainer, group trainer level 1 cross fit and nutrition coach.
  • She is also a Level 1 & 2 USA Hockey coaching certified.
  • Sarah has played professional ice hockey in Oslo Norway for Vålerenga.
  • She will be a mentor to the young girls and a nutrition expert for camps and combines.

THE ELITE COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING PROGRAM

All divisions follow identical schedules and are led by an experienced proven staff of college, professional and prep school coaches, hand-picked to work with the Elite program. Each division will be grouped by ability level that will allow us to ensure that each player will be challenged and comfortable at the same time. All divisions follow identical schedules and are led by TC Elite Hockey staff. In the younger divisions we will place emphasis on skill development and basic fundamentals afforded to the players. This will include more intense emphasis on on ice fundamentals such as passing, shooting, stickhandling, skating, most importantly having fun but getting better each day. In the older divisions we will place more emphasis on physical development and educational opportunities afforded to the player. This will include more intense emphasis on weight training, conditioning, recovery, nutrition, time management skills and college preparation. The older players will be exposed to higher educational options including recruiting lectures with college players.

TC Elite & Strides of CNY will partner together to allow female athletes the opportunity to train with Michael Derecola, ATC, CSCS longtime owner at Strides of CNY. Michael will help TC Elite with on ice and off ice testing.
